Takeuchi Fleet Management (TFM) is a telematics service designed to remotely connect users to their Takeuchi track loaders and excavators. It delivers alerts and machine information such as location, utilization, performance, and maintenance status, as well as insights into how and where equipment is being operated.
There are three components of TFM:
Communications monitoring unit
Global Positioning System (GPS) antenna for tracking the machine’s location
Cellular network transmitter attached to the machine to broadcast data.
The machine information is then fed into a graphical interface that you can view and interact with via a PC, laptop, smartphone, or tablet. The mobile-friendly user interface adapts to the screen size of the device you’re using, so the information always comes across straightforward and easy to understand.
To get specific machine information, you can use the map to locate the machine you’re looking for or search by model or serial number. TFM can typically pinpoint the locate a machine to within approximately 15 feet. While the machine is running, it sends a fresh set of data points, including battery state, Diesel Particulate Filter status, engine coolant temperature, fuel consumption rate, injector metering rail pressure, and engine oil levels, every 15 minutes. Thanks to TFM, you’re always aware of the machine’s performance, whether you’re behind the wheel or on the other side of the globe.
