Carbide Welder

This position will perform all of the tasks associated with the application of carbide to wear surfaces of ground engaging tools. 

Essential Functions:

1.    Must take a personal and active approach to health and safety and understand and follow all state, federal and company health and safety requirements applicable to the work area and tasks assigned.

  1. Preparation of parts needing carbide application.  This includes, but is not limited to:
    1. Requisition of parts out of the warehouse
    2. Grinding paint of the areas needing carbide
    3. Loading parts onto the deck of the carbide machine
  2. Operate of the two axis automated Welding/MIG Carbide machine
    1. If applicable, programing patterns into the carbide machine
    2. The ability to run the carbide machine without the use of a pattern
  3. Performing post carbide application stress relief
  4. Performing quality control on parts before they are painted
  5. Painting of the parts after carbide application
  6. Returning parts to the warehouse after completed
  7. Ability to prioritize work given conflicting needs
  8. Perform basic maintenance on the two axis automated Welding/MIG Carbide machine

Territory Sales Representative

General:

  • Generate equipment sales and rentals for construction equipment by managing customer accounts

Administrative:

  • Ensure that all orders and documents (Quotes, PO's & Invoices) are submitted to the Sales Department in an accurate and timely manner
  • Controls expenses incurred while on company business and completes and submits appropriate reports

Interpersonal:

I.T. Help Desk Technician

Employment Type: Full time

Under the direction of the Information Technology Manager, provides first-level general support to company employees in the areas of software applications, PC’s, printers, phones and technologies used throughout the company.    

Duties and Responsibilities

1.       Answer incoming calls to the tech support center

a.        Log all issues

Qualifications and Job Requirements

Preventative Maintenance Technician

Summary: Maintenance Technicians at PMC are responsible for providing safe and efficient preventative maintenance service, oil sampling and equipment inspection based on customer needs.

 

Responsibilities:

·        Execute preventative maintenance services on all types of construction, mining, and paving equipment

·        Properly perform oil sampling of all major machine components

·        Perform detailed machine inspections

·        Test and verify correct operation of all lube services and adjustments

·        Maintain work area, tools, and equipment to promote a clean and safe environment

·        Use miscellaneous resources and computers to reference parts and oil capacities

·        Complete accurate and organized service reports

·        Respectful and clearly communicate with customers while thoroughly answering any questions that may arise during the service

·        Keep assigned service truck road worthy by performing routine maintenance and repairs while also remaining focused on the vehicles overall appearance

·        Keep pertinent in-house personnel informed about general machine condition, discrepancies found and suggested action required to resolve noted problems

·        Keep daily DOT driver log according to FMCSA requirements

Education and/or Experience:

·        High school diploma/certificate or equivalent

·        Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license

·        Must be able to comply with DOT CDL requirements

·        Must be able to obtain and maintain a current MSHA card

·        Must have experience operating heavy machinery

·        Must successfully meet pre-employment drug/alcohol policies and medical/physical capability requirements

·        Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of technical experience

  1. Locate the issue swiftly upon interacting with the customer and communicating well with everyone involved to insure the problem is understood completely
  2. Uses their expertise to analyze and diagnose the equipment and understand what modifications and repairs need to be made
  3. Recommend the correct service and repairs to the customer and show where the failure is
  4. Accurately and neatly document all work on the work order including hour meter readings, serial numbers, model numbers and all information asked for and make sure the customer or representative signs
  5. Keep a record of all comments, compliments, complaints, and suggestions and turn them into management so appropriate action is taken
  6. Maintain the company service vehicle in a clean and orderly, hazard-free, manner and making sure service vehicle is in safe operating condition
  7. Observes all safety procedures both from company and customer’s safety procedures and make certain all hazardous waste is appropriately taken care of
